Siamo in Inghilterra nel 1963. Buster, ladro da quattro soldi, fa parte di una banda che riesce a compiere una rapina record su un treno. La polizia cattura tutti meno Buster e Bruce, che fuggono ad Acapulco: Buster è con la moglie e la figlioletta. Finiti i soldi, Buster rimanda a Londra la sua signora con la bambina, poi cerca di raggiungerle, ma per la loro tranquillità finisce per costituirsi. La rapina è quella del treno Glasgow-Londra.
