Harry Potter ha tredici anni e deve trascorrere ancora una volta le vacanze estive con i terribili zii Dursley, i suoi unici parenti, che hanno un atteggiamento davvero medioevale nei confronti della magia e vivono nel terrore che qualcuno scopra che il nipote frequenta la Scuola di Magia e Stregoneria di Hogwarts.
