La rana Kermit e l'orso Fozzie sono due giornalisti che non sono riusciti a documentare il furto del prezioso diamante Baseball, trafugato sotto ai loro occhi. I ladri sono fuggiti via senza lasciar traccia facendo ricadere tutti gli indizi su Miss Piggy. Decisi a scagionarla dalle pesanti accuse, Kermit e Fozzie, con l'aiuto di Gonzo, si avventurano in una missione necessaria a dipanare il mistero e assicurare alla giustizia i veri responsabili della rapina.
