Il giovane Jim Hawkins scopre la mappa in grado di rivelare dove si nasconda il tanto ambito tesoro del celebre pirata Flint. In suo aiuto giungono il dottor Livesy e ed il cavalier Trelawney, i quali preparano il ragazzo per il lungo viaggio. Lungo il percorso, Long John Silver incrocia il cammino della banda e fa di tutto per arrivare per primo al bottino.
