Dylan Boyd si rende conto che le sue giornate sono scandite dal replicarsi di piccoli eventi apparentemente casuali che si ripetono identici ogni giorno alla stessa ora, in una successione che termina puntualmente alle 2.22 alla stazione del treno. Dylan indaga sullo strano schema in cui il fato sembra aver imprigionato la sua vita, scoprendo un collegamento con un giorno di oltre vent’anni prima in cui una coppia di fidanzati venne assassinata proprio alla stazione.
