Per diventare agente della CIA, Evelyn Salt ha fatto giuramento sul suo onore di servire la patria. Quando un disertore l'accusa di essere una spia russa sotto mentite spoglie, Evelyn dovrà dimostrare di essere fedele ai principi per i quali ha giurato.
