Un pilota che testa un nuovo velivolo sperimentale a razzo riesce a volare nel futuro e ad atterrare nella base aerea ormai deserta che aveva lasciato. Finisce in una città con persone che sospettano che sia una spia e che vogliono tenerlo per procreare con la figlia dei governanti perché la maggior parte degli abitanti è sterile. Riesce a scappare e tornare ai suoi tempi, ma invecchia drammaticamente.
