Una venticinquenne, Joan Webster, che non ha mai avuto alcun tipo di esitazione nel corso della sua vita finisce per arrabbiarsi sul serio quando il maltempo le impedisce di raggiungere un'isola dell'arcipelago delle Ebridi.
