Il regista Cecil B. DeMented e la sua pazza troupe, gli Sprocket Holes (I Perforati d'Acciaio), sono considerati i terroristi del cinema per i loro film girati in modo non convenzionale e per i temi che portano sullo schermo. Per realizzare il suo ultimo film Cecil decide di rapire la star di Hollywood Honey Whitlock, considerata una "diva capricciosa" e costringerla a recitare per lui nel suo film underground .
